This is the Bosnian language edition of Imam Camil Avdic's study of Bosnia's history and the development of a Bosnian ethnic and national identity. The span of Bosnian history from medieval times to the various conquests (Turkish, Austro-Hungarian, and the formation of Yugoslavia) of the land that would become Yugoslavia are covered. This is a unique work that also includes a study of Bosnians in the United States and has a bibliography of all of Avdic's articles and books published in the English and Bosnian languages.
