Once Broken - Now Healing details Sylvia's personal journey as a victim of domestic violence, rape, incest/sexual abuse and much more. She has done and witnessed things nobody should have to see nor endure; especially as a child. Sylvia also grew up in an abusive home and often witnessed the abuse her mother suffered at the hands of her father. That abuse (verbal and mental) eventually extended to her. Hopefully her journey can inspire others to go from being a victim to a survivor. She is living proof that it IS possible to go from tragedy to triumph; which will be revealed in the second book.
