Like many young women during the late Victorian era, Lucy makes her living as a Housemaid. After finding herself in a difficult situation, she begins a new role at an unfamiliar country estate that is owned by her current employer. Upon arrival to this mysterious place, she finds that the manor house is unused and solely maintained by the Housekeeper, Mrs Kavon. Over the solitary years, the emptiness of the location has twisted Mrs Kavon towards an unpredictable and stern nature. With nowhere else to go, Lucy does her best to adapt to the woman's strange moods and the unsettling surroundings. Soon she comes to realise that the old Housekeeper isn't the only unusual figure to haunt the hallways of Corvus Creek Manor.
