This book is written to illustrate the negative and harmful impacts of hip hop music and culture upon the African American male student over the past several decades. Black males continue to be the poorest performing sub group in schools. It details this underperformance and how it must be addressed. It provides solutions for engaging all students through participation in high level academic competition.
