This book is the latest in a new reference series for aircraft modellers called "Spotlight On" and presents detailed illustrations of the famous French World War One biplane fighter aircraft developed by Societe Pour L'Aviation et ses Derives (SPAD). By the end of the War, the plane had equipped virtually every fighter squadron of the Aeronautique Militaire. The book contains 40 colour profile views of the colours, camouflage and markings of examples in French service and in other foreign air forces' service.
