Tristan, a 9-year old boy, has a troubled home life that comes to light at school. Tristan's biological mother and father divorced and his father quickly remarried. His stepmother had a new baby and there is an obvious difference in how she treats Tristan versus Cyrus, Tristan's half-brother, and Tristan's dad doesn't seem to notice. Tristan begins bullying a new boy in school because of all of his anger. He gets suspended for fighting and gets in even more trouble at home. Will Tristan be able to return to school and stop his bullying ... and will his dad and stepmother realize the effects they have on him?
