Neuroglia: Function and Pathology provides a broad overview of glial pathophysiology and their contribution to various neurological diseases. With a focus on the role of different classes of neuroglial cells in the progression and outcome of each neurological disorder both in the CNS and PNS, this book highlights the importance of glia in neuropathology and, at the same time, the potential of glial cells as therapeutic targets.
