Set against the backdrop of the surf beaches of Cornwall and Devon, the past, present and future of medicine are woven into ancient wisdom and legend, buried deep beneath the foundations of Whitehorse Hospital. Two deaths and rumours of witchcraft greet Dr. Will Cunningham as he starts work at his new hospital. He has been instructed to mentor medical student and surfing champion Tamsin Trevelyan, whose allegations against a highly respected colleague have inflammed an already volatile situation.
