Great self-esteem is something we should all encourage in others no matter our cultural differences. Instilling a healthy sense of self-appreciation is what this book intends for its readers. Though the target audience is young black girls with noticeable hair texture and skin tones, the moral of this book can be taught to any young child of any gender.
