George Stephenson is approaching his fiftieth birthday, disappointed with life, and only too aware of his many failings.His troubled marriage to Dawn appears to be crumbling, egged on by his successful neighbour Derek.His relationship with his son Paul has become detached. Something has gone horribly wrong in their son's life that he won't share with them.
