Under a Waxing Moon
1990. Former friends, Sarah Hanlon and Isabel Kinkaid meet by chance at Heathrow Airport. As they go on their respective holidays, they recall the events that led Sarah to flee from their shared home in London, twenty-six years ago. Renewing their friendship, they holiday in Ireland where they have another chance encounter - with Eva Brownlow, Sarah's pupil in primary school and Isabel's at O level. Isabel is horrified, remembering the dire consequences of her last encounter with Eva. Eva is equally horrified to see Isabel and wonders if she has traced her to Ireland in retribution. Gradually the past unfolds for the three women but does it lead to forgiveness and reconciliation? Or to recrimination and revenge?
