Cajun Sexy Cooking REVIEW: 5.0 out of 5 stars Whew Double-D-licious Review by William R. Hancock. Have MERCY This is one ENTERTAINING cookbook Quite unlike any I have ever seen before I daresay no Fannie Farmer, nor Betty Crocker, nor Paula Dean, Paul Prudhomme, James Beard, Craig Claiborne, Justin Wilson----and certainly no Julia Child ----ever published one like THIS one EVER Not a chance You ever hear the old expression "Don't judge a book by its cover"? Well DO judge this one by its cover The cover will totally clue you in Its a nice color photo cover. It has a pot of mudbugs (crawfish) and 'taters stewing in a pot at the bottom of the photo, the book's title and author named, and---stirring that pot of vittles----is a curvy, lissome young swamp honey with nice, smoooooth skin, firm, flat belly with a nice, slender waist, a deep-set, sexy navel, and an a bodaciously bodacious set of----ummmm----"protuberances"---plumping up from, and spilling out of, a skimpy print frilly-dilly front hook-bra (or halter top). Wooooooweee, is this view NICE Only down side to this cover is that they CROPPED Sweet Thang's HEAD off when they PRINTED this cover But heck, you'll be so enthralled with her---ummm----spillover----that you won't mind much AT ALL PRAISE the LORD AND, you DO get to see her head and face later on inside the book, so the temerity of this crop job is redeemed in the end, after all. SO good And the cover is only a glorious PREVIEW of what's coming to you inside this most arresting volume. Now, most of these authors named above wouldn't really think of treating you to succulent swamp recipes of the likes of possum stew, squirrel stew, cubed coon with pepper relish, catfish courtbouillon, broiled alligator tail with lemon butter sauce, cajun boiled peanuts, French fried oyster poboy, and scads more scrumptious culinary delights-----INCLUDING a recipe for (ugh) NUTRIA that is sure to make your mouth water (though it didn't mine). Now most cookbooks love to show lavishly photographed pictures of the recipe dishes they are presenting. Not THIS book THIS one shows you oodles of pictures of those who have hunted down, fished for, and captured these cajun-creole foodstuffs The PROVIDERS And LET ME TELL YOU The pictures of these providers are MUCH more enticing to look at than the recipe dishes themselves. Actually, in THIS book, the Providers are the REAL "dishes" LORD help us We have scads of succulent cypress swamp honeys here with protuberant protuberances on display, bootylicious backsides, long-stemmed, lucious legs, firm, taut tummies, and eye-arresting faces----all done up in scanty bikini panties, teensie bras, skimpy swimsuits, thrilling thongs, or camo short shorts. And, gosh, they pack GUNS They pack guns out with their coon dogs, treeing those black-masked bandits with sexy aplomb. They wade in the water en masse and SHOW OFF their shotguns with pride and pulchritude ("you show me yours and I'll show you mine"). They also dump crawfish and crab traps in their sexy skivvies, while taking care to wear good work boots and gloves. They perch well in tree stands, too, packing bows and arrows and aiming on dropping white tails and boar hogs with broadhead hunting points on their arrows. One even APPEARS to have dropped herself a "hawgzilla" in one photo, although appearances can be deceiving. These gals get it done There is a story contained here, too; about how Della Star, an international supermodel, comes to swamp country, falls in love with a backwater Lothario named Claude Dean, and casts her fate with him while snubbing the world of jet set haute couture. Its funny. Get this book. Read it. You'll laugh your head off and you guys will want Santa Claus to BRING you a bunch of these honeys to stock your pond with. They'd make Marcel Ledbetter forget ALL ABOUT chainsaws. As Justin Wilson would say, "I ga-ron-TEE ".
