This story is about Gary, the author, and his two friends Joe and Phil and their adventure in the summer of 1963, working their way to Europe on a freighter as work-a-ways, and traveling the Southern Circle by bicycles, mobilities, trains and hitch-hiking. There were many adventures along the way. Joe has passed on but Phil and Gary carry on.
