It is estimated by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) that 1 in 54 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). However, boys are four times more likely to be diagnosed with autism than girls. This book aims to demystify autism, create awareness, and most importantly, advocate for acceptance of those who are not neurotypical by showing the world through the eyes of an autistic boy named Wade.
