The recovery community loves slogans. The rooms are filled with witty aphorisms, tender teachings, and life saving pith instructions. The slogans that adorn the rooms might seem like kitchen magnet fodder, but they can be so much more. Lojong slogans are a set of traditional Buddhist teachings designed to open our heart for the purpose of being of benefit to the world. Recovery Lojong is a look at how these two sets of teachings can align to allow for a deeper and richer "spiritual experience", so that we can better benefit the world and carry the message to the still sick and suffering.
