This book is based on a meeting on the Fungal Nucleus organised by the Physiology Group of the British Mycological Society and held in London in April 1980. The contributions of the authors provide a detailed picture of the knowledge of the cell nucleus in yeasts, filamentous fungi and slime moulds at the time.
