IntroductionThis book advanced in the course of recent years from a lot of talk notes created while instructingthe undergrad Algorithms course at Berkeley and U.C. San Diego. Our method for instructingthis course developed enormously over these years in various ways, somewhat to addressOur understudies' experience (undeveloped conventional aptitudes outside of programming), and halfway toReflect the developing of the field when all is said in done, as we have come to see it.
